Welcome back to the new updated Jazz Monkeys website. We’re still offering the free jazz guitar tabs you’ve come to love, but we thought it was high time the site received a fresh lick of paint and a shiny new feature set. And here it is.
After a year of struggling with a broken website, we have moved the whole shebang on to WordPress as it provides us with a Content Management System that is much easier for our ponderous little minds to cope with. We’ve also added RSS support and links to popular social bookmarking sites like Digg, Del.icio.us, Reddit and (um) Facebook. So now you can show how much you appreciate our gratis guitar juju by bigging us up on t’interweb…
(…though exactly why you would want to share our pitiful brand of amateur jazz misery with estranged chums on Facebook we really don’t know.)
Instead of resurrecting the forums – which have seen significant downtime due to incessant attacks by spam monkeys – we’ve added functionality to allow you to leave comments about individual guitar tabs. So get your hairy little mitts typing and feel free to tell us how irredeemably pants our chord melody tabs are and how we shouldn’t even be let near a guitar never mind a website. Alternatively, you could send us some of the moist love we so obviously crave.
New tabs will follow at some point, we promise, once we pull our collective monkey finger out. And finish lunch.
Of course, all this is a shamefully misleading attempt to appear Net 2.0 compatible. Hope you enjoy the tabs and see you on Myspace!*
